Our colleagues go above and beyond to support other members of the team, customers, the wider community, and those in need. We call these people, our ‘EnerMech Heroes’ and draw upon them to keep us motivated and inspired.
Meet Barry, our Account Lead for Equipment Rental and one of EnerMech’s first employees. In 2019, Barry was diagnosed with late-stage prostate cancer which, despite various treatments over the past two years, has returned and is now terminal. Despite his diagnosis, Barry’s focus has never wavered from giving back to the community which supported him during his greatest time of need.
Barry chose to focus his efforts on fundraising for two Aberdeen based charities which have assisted him during his battle with cancer, the Urological Cancer Charity (@UCAN) and @friends of ANCHOR.
