EnerMech CMO expands role to support PXGEO’s growth

June 4, 2025

Alison Hazell, Chief Marketing Officer at EnerMech

EnerMech’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Alison Hazell, has been appointed as the first CMO of global marine geophysical specialist PXGEO. Effective immediately, Ali will support PXGEO’s next phase of growth while continuing in her executive leadership role at EnerMech.

Ali joins PXGEO CEO Charles ‘Chuck’ Davison Jr. at the helm of the business, with both leaders maintaining their senior roles within EnerMech. The move reflects the strong alignment between the two organisations, which share common shareholders, a unified governance structure and a commitment to excellence in the energy sector.

Appointed as EnerMech’s CMO in August 2024, Ali has been instrumental in elevating the company’s brand and communications strategy. Since joining EnerMech in 2017, she has brought decades of marketing expertise, including founding and leading her own agency and holding senior client service roles with Denvir Marketing, Immediate Media Co., and BBC Magazines.

In her new dual capacity, Ali will lead the development and global roll-out of PXGEO’s marketing and branding strategy. She will also play a key role in shaping the company’s strategic direction, enhancing customer engagement, and strengthening its position in the market.

Commenting on the announcement, Ali said: “The opportunity to shape and lead marketing efforts at such a pivotal time for PXGEO fills me with immense excitement. The shared values and corporate alignment between PXGEO and EnerMech make this transition feel natural, and I look forward to working with the team as we advance our strategic goals, deliver value for our clients and shareholders, and build on the company’s momentum. I’m excited to get to know everyone in the months ahead.”

Chuck Davison Jr., CEO of both EnerMech and PXGEO, added: “Having seen first-hand the creativity and clarity Ali brings to marketing and communications, I’m thrilled she’s joining me at PXGEO. Her deep sector knowledge and sharp insight into the energy industry’s unique messaging challenges make her an invaluable asset as we begin the next chapter of PXGEO’s journey.”

PXGEO, established in 2021, has quickly earned a reputation for excellence in marine seismic data solutions, leveraging the combined power of ocean bottom node and towed streamer acquisition techniques to deliver seamless subsurface imaging and support a more sustainable energy future.

This dual leadership approach reinforces the strength and agility of EnerMech’s executive team while further strengthening the strategic ties between both businesses as they pursue ambitious growth plans across the energy value chain.
