Overview

EnerMech delivered hydraulic services for Baker Hughes on the Zohr gas field—the largest offshore gas discovery in the Mediterranean. The project involved complex fabrication, welding, pressure testing, and flushing of 18 critical modules, including HIPPS, production manifolds, and SDUs. A 40-person team was deployed in Alexandria, supported by pre-engineering and material supply from EnerMech’s Aberdeen facility. Despite challenging site conditions and tight timelines, the team completed over 2.8km of pipework across 58,500 man-hours with zero lost time incidents. The project exceeded client expectations and reinforced EnerMech’s reputation for safe, high-quality offshore delivery.
