Overview

EnerMech supported the upgrade of the Valaris Gorilla VI jack-up rig following its relocation from Trinidad to the UK, preparing it for operations in the North Sea. The project required rapid delivery of multi-discipline services under tight timelines and COVID-19 restrictions.

EnerMech deployed an agile team to deliver hose integrity management, hydraulic flushing, SBT inspection, PRV testing, and equipment rental. Over 1,000 flexible hoses were manufactured and installed in-house within six weeks. Despite evolving scopes and pandemic constraints, the team completed 3,933 man-hours without incident, ensuring the rig was ready for redeployment on schedule.

Key Highlights

  • 1,056 flexible hoses manufactured, tested, and installed in six weeks
