Overview
EnerMech supported Shell’s Appomattox development in the Gulf of Mexico by delivering a large-scale pre-commissioning campaign across multiple offshore scopes. The project involved pigging, hydro-testing, and high-pressure dewatering of a 55-mile gas export pipeline and associated infield flowlines and risers.
A 10,000 scfm nitrogen spread—the largest ever deployed in the Gulf—was mobilised, alongside a Remote Flooding Console for high-flowrate operations. A 36-person multi-disciplined team executed 19 operations across five offshore locations, completing over 18,000 man-hours without incident. EnerMech’s integrated approach reduced costs, improved efficiency, and ensured safe, on-time delivery.
