EnerMech supported Samsung Heavy Industries during the construction of the Egina FPSO by delivering a comprehensive joint integrity solution across both onshore and offshore scopes. With over 6,500 joints to manage and multiple failures prior to engagement, the project demanded strict quality control, full traceability, and workforce upskilling.
A multi-skilled team of up to 60 personnel delivered flange management, leak testing, valve integrity, and machining services. Using EnerMech’s proprietary SIM software, every joint was digitally tracked and documented in real time. The team also trained over 1,000 SHI employees in bolting best practices, raising site-wide standards. The project was completed safely and efficiently, laying the foundation for long-term asset reliability.
