Overview

EnerMech supported Woodside Energy with the full refurbishment and mobilisation of a Favelle Favco M1060D crane for the Goodwyn-A (GWA) platform. The crane, sourced second-hand, required a complete overhaul to meet offshore compliance and performance standards. EnerMech’s Henderson facility handled the entire process in-house, including inspection, hydraulic upgrades, lifetime extension, and factory acceptance testing.

The team also engineered all rigging, lifting frames, and logistics for future offshore deployment. This integrated approach delivered cost and schedule efficiencies while ensuring the crane is fully compliant and ready for installation in a remote, cyclone-prone environment.

Key Highlights

  • Full inspection, overhaul, and FAT of Favelle Favco M1060D crane

  • Hydraulic system upgrades and lifetime extension

  • Engineering and supply of rigging, lifting frames, and transport logistics
