EnerMech supported the Dana Western Isles Development project at the COSCO Shipyard in Nantong, China, delivering specialist joint integrity services across a multi-year timeline. With over 9,000 joints to manage and a multinational workforce, the project demanded precision, traceability, and knowledge transfer in a high-pressure fabrication environment.

Our team provided flange management, leak testing, PSV recalibration, and training for 50 COSCO personnel. Using our proprietary SIM software, we ensured real-time documentation, accurate bolt load calculations, and full lifecycle traceability. The project was completed with full system close-out, leaving a legacy of improved standards and trained local capability.

Key Highlights

  • Flange management and bolt load calculations for over 9,000 joints

  • N2/He leak testing, PSV overhaul, and recalibration
