3t EnerMech has secured the title of “Regional Winner for East Africa and the Rest of the World” in the Engineering Construction Industry Training and Development Awards—for the second year in a row.

Organized by the Engineering Construction Industry Training Board (ECITB), this prestigious accolade recognizes and celebrates the very best in the global engineering construction industry.

The awards ceremony will take place on Thursday, November 2, at the Cutty Sark in London, where several other honors will also be presented.

A range of factors is considered by the judging panel when selecting a winner, including the number of people trained, quality of training, commitment to equality and diversity, innovation and ambition, engagement with the ECITB, and overall value added to the market. 3t EnerMech was recognized as the top training provider in its region.

Established in 2021, 3t EnerMech is a joint venture between integrated solutions specialist EnerMech and 3t (formerly 3t Energy Group), the leading provider of high-impact training and learning solutions for safety-critical industries.

Together, the alliance delivers world-class training and competency solutions through a blend of traditional instruction, digital learning technologies, and training compliance management platforms.

3t EnerMech has already made a global impact as the exclusive ECITB-approved training provider in three of the world’s key oil and gas frontiers: Angola, Namibia, and Guyana.

As part of this, the firm has established a training center of excellence in Guyana and is working with the UK and national governments and organizations to shape future training requirements for East Africa’s growing workforce. It is also exploring opportunities to expand into other emerging regional markets.

EnerMech spokesperson, said:
“Winning the regional award for the second year in a row is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the excellent work of our staff. We’re incredibly grateful to the judging panel for recognizing our outstanding efforts in delivering training excellence throughout East Africa and beyond.

There are several regions across the globe quickly emerging as new oil and gas hotspots, and we want to ensure they are fully prepared by developing a highly skilled, local, competent, and safe workforce ready to support projects as they arise.

ECITB standards and procedures are world-class, so to be recognized as the best of the best by this organization is a great honor and a reflection of the brilliant work carried out by the 3t EnerMech team.”
