EnerMech’s training division has secured a contract worth in excess of £1.4 million to provide trainers and assessors for international oil and gas contractor Saipem.
The Aberdeen company’s health and safety and competency experts will support Saipem staff working on construction and pipelaying vessels, offshore drilling rigs and land based drilling projects across the world.
In addition to mechanical services and cranes and lifting equipment, EnerMech has OPITO approved training centres to provide safety and training services to the offshore oil and gas industry.
EnerMech’s training programmes include crane driver assessment, rigging & lifting, banksman/slinging, scaffolding, working at height awareness and a wide range of other safety categories.
EnerMech advisors are currently working at Saipem locations in Holland, Saudi Arabia, Angola, Republic of Congo and Singapore.
