EnerMech Gets Lift With £1 Million Apache North Sea Deal

EnerMech Ltd has extended its relationship with Apache North Sea Ltd by securing a £1 million contract.

The Aberdeen company will supply rigging lofts and all portable lifting equipment to Forties Field platforms, Alpha, Bravo, Charlie, Delta and Echo

The contract is for three years with the possibility of two one-year options and was won in a competitive tender.

It follows the award last year to EnerMech of a £6 million contract to provide crane and maintenance services for the same Apache assets in the Forties Field.

EnerMech recently signed a long term partnership agreement with world leading lifting technology company, Gunnebo Industries, to provide a full range of portable lifting equipment to the UK North Sea energy sector.

EnerMech’s business development director, John Wingfield, said: “This latest contract with Apache cements an ongoing relationship and we are delighted they opted again to engage us in the Forties Field.

“Winning this work underlines that we understand Apache’s business and operational requirements and that we are able to provide the best equipment, technology and manpower available in the market place.

“Securing the Gunnebo distributorship last year has strengthened our offering and being able to provide Apache and other operators with the latest lifting technologies gives us a cutting edge over competitors.”
