Perth-based EnerMech Pty Ltd has been given the seal of approval by Australia’s National Training Information Service (NTIS) to deliver competency training in offshore crane operating.
The mechanical services company has been accredited as a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) in Western Australia and been endorsed to deliver the PMASUP305A (Operate Offshore Crane) competency standard.
NTIS had been developed by federal and state governments in Australia to vet and approve companies involved in providing training and competency services. EnerMech also recently achieved ISO 9001:2008 status for its quality management system used throughout its international operations.

Regional training manager for EnerMech, Grant Paterson, added: “Obtaining RTO status was a key part to delivering on our commitments to our clients in Australia of providing nationally recognised training and assessment services in addition to our existing courses.”
EnerMech specialises in the supply, maintenance and engineering of cranes, lifting and hydraulic equipment, rental of hand tools and zoned equipment and provision of training and specialist personnel to the energy industry.
